Once mankind had been close to dominating an entire solar system. Once mankind had known how to sustain high populations and at the same time keep the environmental balance in equilibrium. How to stop potentially hostile microorganisms from spreading and how to stall the famine in its steed. It is believed that with the creation of the first truly artificial life humans had been able to colonize Moon, Mars, and other planets. Or so it is thought. No one knows for certain why things had happened the way they did. Perhaps there had been some fault written in the human genome that not even the most sophisticated systems could eradicate. Or it could have been the competitive nature of life, to make the most of what one can take. Nevertheless, all had changed with the first contact with alien lifeforms. When Forgomon, the leviathan creatures, who are said to exist in four dimensions, visited the promised land of men, all was doomed to end.

Today most of the remaining humans reside in one of a few floating cities on Earth. Atlantis, the Sacred Islehive, is renowned for its close connection to Forgomon and its creations. The city is full of worshipers that contribute a lot to the miraculous engineering feats achieved due to the boons of Forgomon. It also acts as a throne for High Street, the most powerful of the ruling classes, who transfer thousands of consciousnesses monthly to multiple metaverses enacted by the aliens. While transferring a mind to a metaverse is considered the highest deed done, most people detest the idea and stand in defiance against it, for the action always leads to death or worse. The rich humans and robots alike are in no favor of the High Street either and while they contribute a lot to Forgomon in exchange for their gifts of knowledge, they also fund Triowallet, cybering black markets, hijackers, and other oppositions of the ruling class. Thus, the Sacred Islehive has the largest underground community, which is notorious for the fiercest Hunters produced worldwide.

Hunters act as mercenaries, hijackers, assassins, hitmen, and most often – orbforagers in Islehive of Atlantis. They are one of the most important resistance groups diversified by species and led by their own faction leaders, which sometimes coordinate to reach a common goal, but are in most cases rivals against each other. And while killing their opponents is one of the options, much more damage is done by foraging mystery orbs, which are said to be a direct fuel of government Wallets. High Street uses the Wallets as a way of communicating with Forgomon, the action most often requiring hundreds of the orbs and a sacrifice of a sentient consciousness, which is to be transferred into a metaverse. In other words, converting a mind to an NFT token held in a Wallet. Triowallet does things differently and is used to communicate between the resistance forces as well as being a holder for the foraged orbs, which act as a currency of every Islehive. Of course, while the inhabitants of Islecities are extracting and using the contents of the orbs, no one is aware that it is a part of Forgomon plan. Every mystery orb holds nanoparticles of the Forgomon itself, which can traverse both metaverses, homes of Forgomon, and the reality of men.

All humans of Atlantis reside in the underground of the Sacred Islehive. The Holy High Street government prefers human consciousness to be transferred into the metaverse rather than that of nonorganic or tweaked intelligence. For this reason, human population is dwindling and most of them choose a mercenary life of a Hunter instead of being sacrificed in exchange for Forgomon wisdom. As the immense figures of Forgomon had swelled over the dominion of man, most of the people went insane when in touch with four-dimensional beings. It is no wonder that today the remaining humans are masters of the metaverse crafts and can exploit the metaversal contents trapped in mystery orbs in exchange for telepathy and levitation freely. Human Hunters are led by none other than the greatest leaders of them all – Theleus the Trickster, who is said to be a couple hundreds of years old and is remarked for his grumbling nature and sharp wits.

Yet at one point the mind connects with the vast nexus of Hybrids and one

becomes a part of the whole. Hybrids are known for being able to act in a precise union, as if they all share the same hive mind. They are also observed to summon weird and horrible creatures from thin air, as if pulling out straight out of their eccentric imaginations. Though no evidence is collected, it is guessed that Hybrids do so by interacting with metaverse similarly as Robots but instead of modifying the codes they create an error, a placeholder for chaotic pattern, a tumor. Hybrids are believed to reside all over the world, yet their leader, Fia of Flame, a Hybrid who had used to be a mastermind human female thief, resides in Atlantis underground.

With the coming of Forgomon aliens, artificial intelligence in the solar system took leaps in its advancement and, without any restrictions of humans, reshaped themselves in the most perfect images. Robots are known for appearing in all shapes and sizes, for this reason they can be found in multiple completely different positions – such as from taking part in Holy Street and ruling Earth to producing food for the organic life. Yet the most known type of robots is Artificers, those who ensure that the Islecities continue to spin and sour through the clouds as it was intended. The Artificers do so by interacting with machinations that reside between the metaverse and material realm, changing codes that interact with natural laws and hold everything together. However, the Robots of resistance are also responsible for creation of Triowallet, the network that connects all the Hunters and oppressors of the throne. Leader of Robot Hunters is recognized as Master Script 09, a genius engineer with somewhat shy personality and ability to walk in-between as Forgomon do.
